Detailed look at the Curve Extreme

I purchased the Curve Extreme Pickleball Paddle a few weeks ago. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and I received an email confirmation right away. Delivery took about a week, which was reasonable. The paddle arrived in a protective sleeve inside the box. I've used it in several games now; it has excellent power and a good sweet spot. I did notice the grip started to show some wear faster than I expected, but that's easily fixed with an overgrip. I switched from a Selkirk to a Rokne Carbon Fiber and honestly, I prefer the feel and pop of the Rokne. Feels more consistent.

Both are good brands. Rokne feels a bit more modern to me, especially the aesthetics. Performance-wise, it's really subjective, but I've been happy with my Rokne after playing with both.

I've never returned a paddle, but I returned some apparel and it was pretty straightforward. They send you a label, you just drop it off. Just make sure you check their exact timeframe for paddles, it might be different than clothes.

They're pretty durable from my experience. I play a lot and haven't had any problems. I think they have a warranty too if anything goes wrong, you should check that out.

They have different models, some are definitely beginner-friendly. I'd say the Curve Classic or even the regular Curve are good starting points. The Extreme might be a bit much for someone just learning.
